Designed with the End in Mind
Isaiah 46:10 "I make know the end from the beginning, for ancient times, what is still to come. I say, 'My purpose will stand, and I will do all that I please.'" Psalm 139:16 "You saw me before I was born. Every day of my life was recorded in your book. Every moment was laid out before a single day had passed.' Ephesians 2:10 "For we are God's masterpiece. He has created us anew in Christ Jesus, so we can do the good things he planned for us long ago." God knows everything th

Walking on Water
About three o'clock in the morning Jesus came toward them, walking on water. When the disciples saw him walking on the water, they were terrified. In their fear, they cried out, "It's a ghost!" But Jesus spoke to them at once. "Don't be afraid," he said. "Take courage. I am here!" Then Peter called to him, "Lord, if it's really you, tell me to come to you, walking on the water." "Yes, come," Jesus said. So Peter went over the side of the boat and walked on the water towards J

Pathway to Peace
Philippians 4:6-7 "Don't worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank him for all he has done. Then you will experience God's peace, which exceeds anything we can understand. His peace will guard your hearts and minds as you live in Christ Jesus." It is so easy to worry. Not All Who Wonder Are Lost

For that person wandering is considered an adventure. But what I wonder is what we call adventure really wandering? God's word says in Isaiah 53:6, "All of us, like sheep, have strayed away. We have left God's paths to follow our own. Yet the Lord laid on Him (Jesus) the sins of us

Do We Want Treasure Here and Now or Treasure in Heaven?
A rich man came running to Jesus and kneeling in front of him asked him, "What must I do to inherit eternal life." He shared how he had followed all the rules--so surely he would be accepted. Is it not each believer's desire to enter into the Kingdom of God and be accepted. We want to hear those words, "Well done, my good and faithful servant." How many of us will say the same thing as this man--I follow all the rules...am I in? And just like this man, Jesus is looking at you

The Garden
The Scripture passage in Mark 14:32-42 (NLT) is where I have been camped out for the last week. I'm amazed at all that God has done, mindful of what He has accomplished on the cross, and what that means for each of us. There is nothing we have gone through that He hasn't or in someway experienced and can relate to and empathize with us. So here are some of my thoughts as I read and prayerfully consider Jesus' journey through the garden of Gathsemane. Vs 32 They went to the o
