About Me
Hello! My name is Sam Christensen. I'm a child of God and a follower of Christ.
I am wife, and a mom of 3 boys. I am a physical therapist by trade.
I am passionate about God's word. I love reading, learning, walking, playing board games, being with family and friends, and creating through writing.
I have not always considered myself a writer. It fact it took a really difficult journey walking through a wilderness so to speak that awakened a love for writing and specifically sharing what I sense God has laid on my heart.
My Story
My mission and vision for this blog is to impart the love and passion I have for God's Word to others. It all started after the very first conversation I had with the Lord. Soon after that moment in His presence I had the desire and longing to read my Bible. Did I understand it all the time...no...but what I did start to understand was that it was a way to understand and know God more.
Sometimes it felt like a check list to read, but soon became something I clung to as it came alive to me.
"For the word of God is alive and powerful. It is sharper than the sharpest two-edged sword, cutting between soul and spirit, between joint and marrow. It exposes our innermost thoughts and desires." Hebrews 4:12
Not only did it come alive...His Word has changed me, molded me, and made me who I am today. I went from someone who only knew of a God to one who found life in the person of Jesus, and seeks daily His kingdom and righteousness through the Word.
